!Workshop: Indigenous Career Pathways (ICP): How to Stand Out and Get Bridged
 
!As the summer and student contracts come to an end, graduation and bridging are at the forefront of conversation. This event will focus on providing students the support and knowledge about employment opportunities in the Government of Canada. The presentation will be delivered by the Indigenous Centre of Expertise and will feature the Indigenous Career Pathways and other GC tools. The workshop will be delivered by a Human Resources Specialist and will include tips and tricks on how to standout in interviews, develop their potential, explore employment possibilities after graduation.

This event will feature a recent graduate who like you, worked as a student, and has recently been hired as an indeterminate employee. The speaker will share their experience as a student and how they used some of the knowledge shared this summer to officially join the Public Service. The session will also feature a life-long learning story with tips on how to apply values and indigenous ways of knowing and being in government positions by Maggie Patsey, Human resources advisor at the Indigenous Centre of Expertise.
