- Reminder that the official acronym for the Government of Canada is GC, not GoC (via TBS)
- The next Web Executive Board meeting taking place on Thursday, January 16, 2025
- The G7 and Expo2025 websites were launched on Monday.
- ECCC : new version of How carbon pricing works page launch yesterday and a new page for industry.
- Public Safety - Launched content today on Strengthen Border Security - Canada.ca, request for promos coming shortly.
- PCO: GC newsroom will be coming soon. Many promos coming for February.
- CRA: Launched single sign-in this week. One sign-in for My Account, My Business Account and Represent a Client. People who have access to more than one can also easily toggle between them now once signed in. https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/cra-login-services.html
Accessible Canada Act - proposed updates to regulations
- Presentation from Roberto Tesolin, ESDC Accessible Canada Directorate
- Proposed changes to the Accessible Canada Regulations were published for consultation via the Canada Gazette in December
- Focus is on digital accessibility including both public-facing web and internal-facing systems
- Consultation is open until February 19, 2025 - Folks are encouraged to attend technical briefings - details on how to confirm your attendance are in the attached message:

Open Government - new data visualizations
- Presentation from Damian Laverty, TBS GC Transparency Solutions
- Demo'ed new data visualization functionality for proactive disclosure info from open.canada.ca, to be launching soon
- Wil makes data that is already openly available (in a big spreadsheet) more digestible and understandable through interactive data visualization features
- Developed using PowerBI
- Interest in a follow-up regarding approach to accessibility for these features
