MyGCHR is coming!

On April 1, 2024, MyGCHR will become the ATSSC's new Human Resources management system.

Currently used by over 45 departments and agencies, MyGCHR will offer employees, managers and members several self-service features, bringing about greater autonomy and efficiency.

Being a modern HR system and the standard system for the federal government, MyGCHR will facilitate accurate and more fulsome data entry, particularly from our HR specialists, allowing for improved reporting and metrics capabilities which will be a benefit to us all.

We are excited for this change and encourage each of you to consult the various tools provided here to better support you in this transition.

What I need to know about onboarding to MyGCHR

  • For the most part, the transition from HRIS (ATSSC's old HR management system) to MyGCHR will be seamless for employees, managers and members.
  • There is no action required of employees, managers or members.
  • Once we are live with MyGCHR, we recommend you view your personal information, and update your emergency contacts.
  • Blackout period: As part of the Leave Year-End procedures (to carry your leave balances forward and add your leave entitlements for the new fiscal year), there will be a blackout period for submitting/approving leave in MyGCHR from April 1, 2024 until April 23, 2024. You will receive further information on this. Know that during the blackout for leave, you will still be able to access the Self-service module for viewing/updating personal information and work schedules.
