Overview EOSD Events Mentorship Program Student Resources

To register with EOSD, please ask your manager to complete the short registration form so that you can attend numerous events for networking and mentorship.

  • Please note that EOSD events are open to students with disabilities only

Summer Activities 2022

EOSD Welcoming Event - Link to MS Teams TBA

An opening event for all EOSD participants. Students will receive an overview of planned events and learn about the mentoring program and post-graduate employment opportunities. Keynote speech from Yazmine Laroche.

July 6 1pm: French

- Lending Library Service

July 20 1pm: English

Stories of Lived Experience - Link to MS Teams TBA

An opportunity for students with disabilities to hear the stories of three public servants with disabilities.

Presenters will speak about:

- The barriers and challenges faced in their career

- How they overcame these obstacles

Aug 3 1pm: Bilingual Group Mentoring - Link to MS Teams TBA

A more personalized group mentoring and networking experience for students. Participants will be placed in smaller groups with a mentor. There will be time to make more personal connections with both the mentor and other students as well as ask questions in a more intimate setting.

**Please note - registration is mandatory for this event. Details on how to register will be shared closer to the date.

A closing event with presentations to outline “what’s next” for students after their summer term.
