Lead, Digital Communication & Change Management (AS-05)
Are you a creative bilingual AS-05 (CBC) with communications experience who is interested in transformation and change initiatives?
The Digital Services Branch (DSB) at the Courts Administration Service (CAS) is looking for a Lead, Digital Transformation Engagement and Change to help develop and implement the engagement, communication and change management activities that will support our service and digital transformation agenda.
We need someone with the following experience:
- Experience in writing and editing communications products.
- Experience writing and implementing communication strategies or plans.
- Experience in providing strategic advice and guidance to clients and management.

Manager, Service & Inclusive Design (IT-04)
As CAS’ Manager, Service Design, you and your team will play a pivotal role in designing the end-to-end journey of various services. Your work may involve the creation of, or change to, transactions, products and content across both digital and offline channels provided by different parts of CAS.
You will be central to ensuring CAS creates products, solutions and services that are useful, delightful to use, accessible and enable business outcomes. You will leverage various design methods (such as https://methods.18f.gov/ or https://www.ontario.ca/page/service-design-playbook) to produce deliverables and insights to inform the delivery of quality services and digital solutions. You will be responsible for managing, planning and performing suitable design research activities to support design discovery (e.g. interview, workshops, task analysis) and design validation (e.g. usability testing, analytics assessment). You will analyze results to design new services or product design changes that will enhance service performance. You will clearly communicate product and service visions to product teams and stakeholders and support them during product development. You will retain and recruit more junior service designers and user researchers and leverage professional services as required to meet the demand for service from your unit. You will manage your team and the work environment to enable your team members to do their best work. Your will work with DSB’s management team and stakeholders to ensure we optimize the value derived from our investments in digital services by ensuring we solve the right problem, the right way. Ultimately, you and your team will provide strategic advice and actively contribute to the improvement of access to justice as well as the quality and performance of CAS services; ensuring that they meet and exceed the expectations of the Courts and those who appear before them.

Demand & Governance Officer (AS-03)
We are looking for a demand and governance officer to join our IT department to support the demand management process and IT initiatives governance.
You will support the aligning exercise of the IT resources with the business needs, prioritizing the IT projects and requests, and compliance with the IT governance framework. You will also support the collaboration and engagement activities with various stakeholders, such as business units, IT teams, vendors, and senior management, to share and communicate the demand status, issues resolution, records of decision, action items, dashboards, reports, etc. To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or a related field, and at least three years of experience in supporting the demand management (intake management process for new IT-enabled projects or products submitted by clients to governance for prioritization exercise) or IT governance (ex. supporting the coordination IT governance meetings, communication, records of decisions, action items, follow-ups, etc.). You should also have strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and be familiar with the best practices and tools for project management and governance.
