⭐ History of the Judy Booth Award
The Award is in memoriam of Judy Booth - to recognize her embodiment of excellence in government services. Her innovative ideas, unwavering commitment, and pioneering work in privacy set her apart[1]. While Booth retired from the National Capital Commission, she was still assisting in the Access to Information and Privacy Office. Before 2019, the Award was known as the Chief Information Officer Community Award for Excellence in Access to Information and Privacy.
The Judy Booth Award recognizes public servant(s) for outstanding achievement in improving service delivery, transparency and collaboration related to access to information and privacy (ATIP) in the Government of Canada.
⭐ Criteria
- Criterion 1: Supports the continued growth and improvement of colleagues in the ATIP community.
- Criterion 2: Demonstrates a passion for service delivery in ATIP requests.
- Criterion 3: Innovates to improve a digital or in-person ATIP service.
- Criterion 4: Improves service delivery, transparency and collaboration related to ATIP requests in the Government of Canada.
