June 15 1:00 - 2:30pm EST ISEO - National Kick-Off Event (Bilingual) Indigenous Centre of Expertise (ICoE) at the Public Service Commission (PSC) MS Teams This activity will be a juncture for Indigenous students hired to:
  • Meet with the ISEO lead & ICoE team
  • Learn about different supports of the ISEO initiative, the diversity of career opportunities in the federal public and about various Indigenous networks (National Indigenous Students Circle (NISC), Indigenous Federal Employee Network (IFEN), Kumik Lodge, Facebook groups, etc.) service
  • To be involved in mentoring & networking opportunities

  • Will be facilitated with 2-3 mentors per session. Upon completion of the event, students will be encouraged to meet & continue a dialogue with any mentor they see fit.
  • This learning activity will provide hired Indigenous students with the support & guidance necessary to create a meaningful work experience.
June 30 1:00-2:30pm EST Presentation on Indigenous Languages Indigenous Centre of Expertise (ICoE) at the Public Service Commission (PSC) MS Teams This activity will be an opportunity for Indigenous students to learn about Indigenous languages and the impact in the Federal Public Service.

  • What is the requirement to be eligible for ICP?
  • How to qualified in a pool?
  • How to stand-out event will guide students to delve into their true potential, explore leadership skills & be better prepare when to go to interviews.
