=== Navigating Senior-Level Expectations: Panel Highlights & Recording ===
 +
As we wrap up the NMC’s 25th year, we’re proud of a year marked by successful events and continued community growth. On average, '''50%''' of participants in our events were new to the NMC, and feedback consistently highlights the community’s relevance and value. In times of uncertainty, staying connected is more important than ever. If you’ve found value in the NMC, we encourage you to share it with other managers or aspiring managers who could benefit.
 +

 +
One of this year’s standout events was the '''December 10 NMC Leadership Panel – ''Navigating Senior-Level Expectations'''''. ===Leading Change: Embedding Nature and Climate into Decision-Making===

Managers play a vital role in shaping how teams respond to today’s environmental challenges. ECCC is pleased to announce '''[https://catalogue.csps-efpc.gc.ca/product?catalog=CHC112&cm_locale=en Halting and Reversing Biodiversity Loss in Canada (CHC112)]''' — a new '''Canada School of Public Service''' course designed to help public service leaders understand biodiversity’s importance, its links to climate change, and how to embed nature considerations into federal decision-making.

This course complements the refreshed suite of '''Climate Literacy courses''', together contributing to a climate- and nature-aware public service. We encourage managers to '''register, champion, and share''' these opportunities. Navigating Senior-Level Expectations: Panel Highlights & Recording

As we wrap up the NMC’s 25th year, we’re proud of a year marked by successful events and continued community growth. On average, 50% of participants in our events were new to the NMC, and feedback consistently highlights the community’s relevance and value. In times of uncertainty, staying connected is more important than ever. If you’ve found value in the NMC, we encourage you to share it with other managers or aspiring managers who could benefit.

One of this year’s standout events was the December 10 NMC Leadership Panel – Navigating Senior-Level Expectations. Senior leaders from diverse backgrounds shared candid, practical insights on a topic you identified as a top leadership development priority in our June Monthly Check-In. The session sparked engaging discussions and valuable takeaways!

Participants appreciated the real-life experiences, practical advice, and expressed interest in more sessions like this.

Leading Change: Embedding Nature and Climate into Decision-Making

Managers play a vital role in shaping how teams respond to today’s environmental challenges. ECCC is pleased to announce Halting and Reversing Biodiversity Loss in Canada (CHC112) — a new Canada School of Public Service course designed to help public service leaders understand biodiversity’s importance, its links to climate change, and how to embed nature considerations into federal decision-making.

This course complements the refreshed suite of Climate Literacy courses, together contributing to a climate- and nature-aware public service. We encourage managers to register, champion, and share these opportunities. For details or support, contact the SEEA Secretariat at eeesformation-seeatraining@ec.gc.ca.
