The Award is in memoriam of Judy Booth - to recognize her embodiment of excellence in government services. Her innovative ideas, unwavering commitment, and pioneering work in privacy set her apart[https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/judy-booth-memorial-service-funeral-celebration-life-almonte-1.4985461]. While Booth retired from the National Capital Commission, she was still assisting in the Access to Information and Privacy Office.

*The awards are open to public servants working in the Government of Canada.
* The Award is open to employees of institutions under the ''Access to Information Act'' (ATI) and the ''Privacy Act''.
*Nominees must have been public servants at any point during the 2023 to 2025 fiscal years. (April 2023 to March 2025)
*Nominees must have been employed in fiscal years 2023-2024 or 2024-2025. Exceptionally this year, there will be two (2) individual awards and two (2) team awards covering this period.
*Team nominations may include members from several Government of Canada organizations. Teams must not exceed 15 individuals.
