Accessible Canada Act - proposed updates to regulations
- Presentation from Roberto Tesolin, ESDC Accessible Canada Directorate
- Proposed changes to the Accessible Canada Regulations were published for consultation via the Canada Gazette in December
- Focus is on digital accessibility including both public-facing web and internal-facing systems
- Consultation is open until February 19, 2025 - Folks are encouraged to attend technical briefings - details on how to confirm your attendance are in the attached message:

Open Government - new data visualizations
- Presentation from Damian Laverty, TBS GC Transparency Solutions
- Demo'ed new data visualization functionality for proactive disclosure data from open.canada.ca, to be launching soon
- Makes data that was already openly available (in a big spreadsheet) more digestible and understandable through interactive data visulation features
- Developed using PowerBI
- Interest in a follow-up regarding approach to accessibility for these features
