Oct 21 to 25 Canada’s first-ever Public Service Neurodiversity Week (PSNW) (Hosted by Infinity – The Network for Neurodivergent Public Servants)

Infinity – The Network for Neurodivergent Public Servants is organizing Canada’s first-ever Public Service Neurodiversity Week (PSNW) on​ October 21 to 25, 2024.​ The theme for this year is ‘Future Ready’, underscoring how embracing neurodiversity is key to the future of work in Canada’s federal public service and beyond.

Goals

  • Raise awareness about neurodiversity in the workplace and the experiences of neurodivergent public servants​
  • Celebrate the talents and contributions of neurodivergent public servants ​
  • Spark conversations about improving support and accessibility for neurodivergent employees in the workplace​
  • Encouraging neurodiversity-affirming practices within the federal public service

Key events

  • A variety of in-person and virtual events are planned for PSNW, including:
  • Kick-off event (hybrid)​
  • Networking mixer (in-person)​
  • Kitchen party (virtual)​
  • Panel discussions (virtual)​
  • Information session on neurodiversity (virtual)

Take some time to learn about how to make the most of EOSD and ask the experts those burning questions that have been on your mind! With guests from the Accessibility, Accommodation and Adaptive Computer Technology (AAACT) team and the Public Service Commission – there will be someone there to answer all your questions.

EOSD participants should come prepared with questions to ask. Remember to keep things generic as this event will welcome people from many different departments.

Please note, this event will be held in both official languages.
