<p>The Enterprise Skilling and Strategy (ESS) team within the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) is piloting the use of digital credentials to recognize achievements across the Government of Canada. </p>
<h2>What are Digital Badages?</h2>
<p><strong>Digital badges</strong> serve as virtual and verifiable symbols that demonstrate an individual's accomplishments. They contain a variety of metadata about why they were issued.</p>
<p>These badges are visually conveyed through icons and can be easily shared across multiple platforms, such as social media, email signatures or using QR codes. </p>

* Generate data and insights on talent accomplishments within the Digital Community.
