<p>Stefaan G Verhulst is Co-Founder and Chief Research and Development Officer of the Governance Laboratory @NYU (GovLab) where he is building an action-research foundation on how to transform governance using advances in science, data and technology. Verhulst’s latest scholarship centers on how technology can improve people’s lives and the creation of more effective and collaborative forms of governance. Specifically, he is interested in the perils and promise of collaborative technologies and how to harness the unprecedented volume of information to advance the public good. </p>

<p>Stefaan G. Verhulst est cofondateur et directeur de la recherche et du développement du Governance Laboratory à NYU (GovLab), où il met en place une fondation de recherche-action sur la façon de transformer la gouvernance en utilisant les progrès de la science, des données et de la technologie. Les dernières recherches de M. Verhulst sont axées sur la façon dont la technologie peut améliorer la vie des gens et la création de formes de gouvernance plus efficaces et collaboratives. Plus précisément, il s'intéresse aux périls et aux promesses des technologies collaboratives et à la manière d'exploiter le volume sans précédent d'informations pour faire progresser le bien public. </p>
