She holds a Master’s in Public Administration - Organizational Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations and is a seasoned HR professional and leader. |Ayesha Sackey is a Black African, British and Canadian. She works as a Clinical Services Manager for Burnaby Mental Health and Addiction BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services. Ayesha Sackey completed her Batchelor’s in Social Work at Goldsmiths University, London, England before going on to complete her Master’s in Social Work at Dalhousie University, Halifax. She has worked at various health authorities in London, England, and Richmond Mental Team, Burnaby Mental Health and Addiction.  Was an adjunct Professor at University of British Columbia teaching Advanced Mental Health.

Her approach includes cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), self regulation therapy (SRT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), narrative therapy (NT), motivational interviewing. Ayesha is also specialised in Trauma Informed Practice (TIP). With her leadership skills and experience she provides consultation to individuals and organizations.
