|The path to the cloud is essentially about change. Technical advancement is not the only area of our work that is changing. Across the government, more and more departments and teams are moving to a multi-disciplinary approach, moving away from projects and towards products, and recognizing the importance of conducting research with users to make data-driven product decisions.
|L’adoption du nuage est nécessairement un chemin vers le changement. Les percées technologiques ne sont pas le seul domaine de notre travail qui changent. Dans l’ensemble du gouvernement, de plus en plus de ministères et d’équipes adoptent une approche multidisciplinaire, s’éloignent des projets au profit des produits, et reconnaissent l’importance de mener des recherches avec les utilisateurs pour prendre des décisions axées sur les données.

Un élément clé du changement de notre travail est le fait que notre travail est axé sur les résultats plutôt que sur les extrants d’équipe. Cette discussion portera expressément sur la visualisation de produits et sur la façon dont notre équipe de Code for Canada et de Transports Canada ont conçu une vision quant au travail en cours qui vise à transformer le processus de certification des gens de mer dans ce but d’atteindre des résultats positifs.
