MyGCHR is coming!

On May 13, 2024, MyGCHR will become the ATSSC's new Human Resources management system.

Currently used by over 45 departments and agencies, MyGCHR will offer staff, managers and members several self-service features, bringing about greater autonomy and efficiency.

We are excited for this change and encourage each of you to consult the various tools provided here to better support you in this transition.

 

What I need to know about onboarding to MyGCHR

  • For the most part, the transition from HRIS (ATSSC's old HR management system) to MyGCHR will be seamless for staff, managers and members.
  • There is no action required of staff, managers or members until after we onboard on May 13, 2024.
  • Once we are live with MyGCHR, we will ask you to view your personal information, and update your emergency contacts.

Leave blackout and leave balances in MyGCHR

  • As part of the Leave Year-End procedures (to carry your leave balances forward and add your leave entitlements for the new fiscal year), there will be a blackout period for submitting/approving leave in the system from March 28 until May 12, 2024.
  • Note: Leave such as personal and family-related will always show a balance of 0 until a request for leave has been made for that leave type. The 0 balance will be replaced with a negative amount based on the accumulated hours requested/taken.

Staff
  • enter and update your personal information
  • submit absence (leave) requests
  • view personal official languages information and work schedules

Manager

  • view HR information about direct reports
  • get quick access to review and approve leave requests from your staff
  • manage your team's work schedules
  • track number of work days for casual employees reporting to you

Training and Support

  • Hands-on training will be provided to HR specialists (details will be provided directly to these individuals)
