What is Collab Message?
Collab Message is a pilot instant messaging service developed and managed by the Digital Collaboration Division (Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat). Sign up for Message and join any chat room that is relevant to you, or create an open or closed group for your team or project! You also have the option to chat directly with other individuals. Message is based on the open source platform, RocketChat, which uses chat rooms to organize discussions.
How-to Start Using Message
Browser
- Go to message.gccollab.ca
- Click the button labelled "Login" and log in using your GCcollab account
- Start using Rocket.Chat!
Mobile App (on Android and iOS Devices)
- Android: Download Rocket.Chat+
- iOS: Download Rocket.Chat+
- When you open the app, enter message.gccollab.ca as the server
- Login using your GCcollab account credentials
