Notes and action items

TBS DTO

  • Priorities for surge support this week remains vaccines and the travel wizard
  • Vaccines feedback from last week:
    • Top task remains the same- people want to know where and when they can get vaccinated
      • We’re working with HC PHAC on improving the hand off to provincial and territorial content
    • Increased feedback for tasks:
      • Shipments and deliveries
      • Agreements for other vaccines
      • How to register for vaccines
      • Vaccine effectiveness
  • Next DTO Communique - If you have any items, please let Laura know by next Monday
  • Adopting Canada.ca design and domain - Pulling together a report on adoption. Will be contacting departments we haven’t heard from this week.
  • Interdepartmental Task Force - working with HC PHAC and PCO on an COVID Vaccine update

HC PHAC

  • Vaccine topic page - in approvals; phase 1 should go live this week.
  • Vaccine vanity url - now active, but not yet being used in any campaigns, will point to a new topic page once that’s live
  • Stats:
    • 7% decrease in use about Travel wizard
    • 15% increase to calls about ArriveCAN
    • 15% decrease in calls to general COVID line
    • Overall COVID views went up last week, but visits were steady

CRA

  • Question: Is there a strategic approach re promotion of the 2021 census?
    • CRA received a request from Stats Can
    • ISED also received the request - will add as a feature on the theme page, but if something important for COVID comes up it will be bumped
    • Same approach for the Jobs topic page
    • DTO will make this a forward agenda item

ISED

  • Some ongoing work on COVID biomanufacturing and vaccines content

Finance

  • Working on revamping ERP page
  • Launched pre-budget consultations page today (most promotion will be via social media)

DND

  • Still working on vaccines page for Canadian Armed Forces - hope to be live this week

Corrections

  • New page re vaccine numbers in federal institutions still in approvals

Heritage

  • Trying to get rid of employee-facing COVID content. Looking for guidance for how long it should stay up. (Will connect with TBS)
