It may appear that hiring managers want lengthy applications but what they actually want is thorough but concise explanations. Can you write in plain language and find the sweet spot?
Learning Objectives:
After this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand that longer explanations are not more thorough than concise ones
- Demonstrate, in writing, their experience in a condensed way that meets screening criteria
- Feel confident in their ability to describe experience factors simply, in plain language
