|Bohang comes from a South African and Canadian background, born in Canada and raised in Lesotho. She started a career in mental health and counseling 21 years ago, with the last 10 years spent working in BC, Canada. At present, she runs a private practice clinic in the Lower Mainland working with a diverse population made up of Black, Indigenous and POC as clients. As an African-Canadian therapist, she is well versed with the anti-Black racism and the inter-generational and racial trauma of Black people in North America. In her pursuit to help others overcome racism, colonization and achieve wellness, she was drawn into counselling and mental health field. Her passion for mental health and wellness, and her fight against colonization, have her continually researching and practicing radical self-compassion, mindfulness, with education and modeling as the foundation for her work.
As a counselor who trained and worked in Lesotho, South Africa and Canada (coast to coast), she is intimately familiar with systemic anti-Black racism and colonization. Currently, Bohang lives in the Fraser Valley with her multi-cultural family, including fur-mily made up of adopted therapeutic dog and cat. She loves the mountains and outdoors, and is honoured to have been welcomed by the local Indigenous people of BC (Sto’lo). She especially values their spirituality, finding their resilience and connection to nature most grounding.
Bohang strongly believes that each person is here on Earth at this time for a bigger destiny, and feels honoured to be a part of the reckoning going on at this time.

|Bohang est d'origine Sud-Africaine et Canadienne, elle né au Canada et a grandi à Lesotho. Il y a déjà 21 ans de cela , elle a commencé une carrière en santé mentale et de service de conseil. Les 10 dernières années elle a travaillé en Colombie-Britannique, au Canada. Aujourd’hui, elle dirige une clinique de pratique privée dans les basses terres du Fraser en Colombie - Britannique et travaille avec une population diversifiée composée de Noirs, d'Autochtones et des clients de premier point de contact. En tant que thérapeute Afro-Canadienne, elle connaît bien le racisme anti-Noir et le traumatisme intergénérationnel et racial des Noirs en Amérique du Nord. Dans sa quête pour aider les autres à surmonter le racisme, la colonisation et à atteindre le mieux-être, elle a été attirée dans le domaine du service de conseil et de la santé mentale. Sa passion pour la santé mentale et le bien-être, et sa lutte contre la colonisation, la poussent à rechercher et à pratiquer continuellement l'auto-compassion radicale, la pleine conscience, avec l'éducation et la modélisation comme base pour son travail.
En tant que conseillère qui a suivi une formation et a travaillé à Lesotho, en Afrique du Sud et au Canada (d'un océan à l'autre), elle connaît intimement le racisme et la colonisation systémiques anti-Noirs. Actuellement, Bohang vit dans la vallée du Fraser avec sa famille multiculturelle, dont une famille composée de chiens et de chats thérapeutiques adoptés. Elle aime les montagnes et le plein air, et est honorée d’avoir été accueillie par les autochtones de la Colombie-Britannique (Sto’lo). Elle apprécie particulièrement leur spiritualité, trouvant leur résilience et leur lien avec la nature les plus ancrés.
Bohang croit fermement que chaque personne est ici sur terre en ce moment pour un plus grand destin, et se sent honoré de faire partie intégrante de ce qui se passe en ce moment.
