The Government of Canada has introduced a new Cabinet Directive on Regulation (the CDR).

The Cabinet Directive on Regulation (the CDR) sets out the Government of Canada’s expectations and requirements in the development, management, and review of federal regulations. It will provide resources for both new and experienced regulators.
