Official languages are sometimes considered a barrier to employment and career advancement for members of certain equity-seeking groups. The modernization of the Official Languages Act is an opportunity for the Government of Canada to challenge and change the discourse on diversity, inclusion and official languages.

This panel will bring together speakers from the public service and private sector to discuss measures to address the challenges faced by equity-seeking groups and to support their career progression.
