Office of Chief Digital Officer (OCDO)
The Office of the Chief Digital Officer (OCDO) supports the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) by managing the CDO’s calendar, correspondence, approvals, and liaising with other executive offices on various taskings and issues. Overall, OCDO ensures that the CDO is well supported so he can lead the Branch in completing high priority taskings, projects, initiatives and fulfilling its mandate.
Strategic Advisor to the Chief Digital Officer (AS-07/EC-06/IT-04)We are looking for a strong strategic thinker that will work closely with the management team of the Digital Services Branch to ensure the high-level performance of the branch. Duties would include: conducting research and strategic analysis, preparing executive briefings, options and recommendations for the CDO and other senior executives, managing the branch’s quality assurance processes for timely and quality completion of deliverables, leading the resolution of issues and response to urgent requests, liaising with CAS’s executive team to ensure tasks and expectations align with organizational priorities, managing the personnel and operations of the Office of the CDO and, developing guidelines and processes to enhance efficiency and communications across the branch. Strategy, Engagement and Results Division
The Strategy, Engagement and Results Division provides strategic guidance, oversight and branch alignment on digital priorities and plans. The division also manages the branch resources and ensures that branch activities align with CAS priorities.

Project Manager (IT-03)We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in project management and will be responsible for leading our projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Portfolio Analyst (AS-03)We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Analyst to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing our IT project and product portfolio to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives and support the effective decision-making process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, financial analysis, and risk management. Demand & Governance Officer (AS-03)We are looking for a demand and governance officer to join our IT department to support the demand management process and IT initiatives governance. You will support the aligning exercise of the IT resources with the business needs, prioritizing the IT projects and requests, and compliance with the IT governance framework. You will also support the collaboration and engagement activities with various stakeholders, such as business units, IT teams, vendors, and senior management, to share and communicate the demand status, issues resolution, records of decision, action items, dashboards, reports, etc. To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or a related field, and at least three years of experience in supporting the demand management (intake management process for new IT-enabled projects or products submitted by clients to governance for prioritization exercise) or IT governance (ex. supporting the coordination IT governance meetings, communication, records of decisions, action items, follow-ups, etc.). Service Design Analyst (IT-02)We are seeking motivated and talented designers interested in joining our service design team and working alongside more experienced service designers to improve services we provide to members of the courts and those who appear before them |
Service Designer (IT-03)We are looking for a designer who's interested in help us work with users and apply service design practices to improve services to members of the Courts and Canadians. You will play a pivotal role in designing the end-to-end journey of various services. Your work may involve the creation of, or change to, transactions, products and content across both digital and offline channels provided by different parts of CAS. You will be central to ensuring CAS creates products, solutions and services that are useful, delightful to use, accessible and enable business outcomes. You will leverage various design methods (such as https://methods.18f.gov/ or https://www.ontario.ca/page/service-design-playbook) to produce deliverables and insights to inform the delivery of quality services and digital solutions. |
Business Solutions Division
The Business Solutions Division is responsible for the development and support of business driven solutions. Working closely with the Courts and CAS, they ensure the right solutions are built and following an organized development process.

Information & Data Management Division
The Information and Data Management Division enables CAS to make data-driven decisions using Business intelligence. They are responsible for the record and information management of CAS’ valuable assets.
Director, Records Management Modernization (EX-01 - Temporary (acting/secondment/interchange))We are seeking a dynamic and experienced digital business transformation leader to help us modernize our records management capabilities and define a strategy and target operating model that will ensure we can best serve the Courts and Canadians. This is a great opportunity for an energetic and strategic executive to lead an end-to-end digital business transformation to modernize government and improve services. This includes a review of processes, procedures, roles and responsibilities, service level targets, funding levels and more. Based on the results of the executive's current state analysis, the duties may also include leading the creation and end-to-end management of required business cases and implementation of corrective actions. |
Manager, Analytics and Data Strategy (EC-07)Join the team at CAS and play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive informed and impactful decision-making within our organization in order to improve access to justice for all Canadians. In this role you will manage a team of employees and consultants to develop strategies, products, and services that will enable CAS to leverage data for decision-making and for optimizing the delivery of its services, lead the development and implementation of the CAS data strategy, including data management, data governance, analytics capability, etc., plan, manage and direct unique and collaborative economic, socio-economic and/or statistical/analytical research studies and projects in support of the development of policies and programs, provide advice and recommendations based on data-driven evidence/analysis and engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, plan, manage, direct and co-ordinate quantitative analysis or data modelling and provide recommendations. Infrastructure, Cloud and Cybersecurity Division
The Infrastructure, Cloud and Cybersecurity Team is at the core of the support and management of the organization IT infrastructure, supporting various the various systems and technologies.
Manager of IT infrastructure, network and end user devices (IT-04) If you are a talented IT specialist that`s looking for a new challenge, this position may be for you. We are looking for a candidate with a diverse and strong IT skills to manage our Network, Infrastructure and End user devices team. First and foremost, this page is used to encourage at-level public servants (or those qualified in a pool) to come work at CAS through a secondment, deployment or Interchange Canada agreements. GC Free Agents are more than welcomed!

Classification
To accelerate staffing, some of the opportunities listed here are being shared in advance of being formally classified. Meaning that the proposed language profiles, levels and groups - which impact rates of pay - are tentative and may change following the results of a formal classification assessment.
