| The Student Welcoming event, done by CSPS, is planning a welcoming remark from the PSC and a panel discussion with Joshua Frame (Manager, Federal Youth Network & Associate Faculty, Canada School of Public Service), Gina Wilson (Deputy Minister, Diversity and Inclusion and Youth, Canadian Heritage), Christiane Fox (Deputy Minister, Indigenous Services Canada), Elizabeth Martin (Federal Black Employee Caucus representative for BC) and possibly the PSC representative.

* To be involved in mentoring & networking opportunities

* Learn about the diversity of career opportunities in the federal public service

* Learn about various Indigenous networks (National Indigenous Students Circle (NISC), Indigenous Federal Employee Network (IFEN), Kumik Lodge, Facebook groups, etc.)
