|Heather Hamilton has over 30 years of public service experience at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. She began her career as a clerk with the City of Edmonton, and moved to the Government of Canada as a receptionist in 1991. She worked through progressively more responsible roles across the country, and was appointed as an executive in 2004. Heather served in executive roles with Human Resources and Social Development Canada, and Environment Canada. She left the Government of Canada in 2013 to serve as head of communications for Edmonton Regional Airports Authority, and then served as Assistant Deputy Minister of Communications for the Government of Alberta.
