|Heather Hamilton compte plus de 30 ans d’expérience dans la fonction publique municipale, provinciale et fédérale. Elle a commencé sa carrière en tant que commis à la Ville d’Edmonton, puis s’est jointe au gouvernement du Canada comme réceptionniste en 1991. Elle a progressivement gravi les échelons vers des postes de plus en plus importants partout au pays et a été nommée cadre en 2004. Heather a occupé des postes de direction au sein de Ressources humaines et Développement social Canada et d’Environnement Canada. Elle a quitté le gouvernement du Canada en 2013 pour occuper le poste de chef des communications de l’Edmonton Regional Airports Authority, puis de sous-ministre adjointe des Communications du gouvernement de l’Alberta. Heather est revenue au gouvernement du Canada en 2018 en tant que directrice générale régionale de la région des Prairies à la Commission des libérations conditionnelles du Canada.
