Organizational Structure / Partners

The NextGen HR and Pay initiative is led by Shared Services Canada in collaboration with:

  • The Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat
  • Public Services and Procurement Canada
  • Government of Canada departments and agencies
  • The HR and pay communities
  • Bargaining agents
  • Federal Public Service employees

Organizational Structure

The Next Generation Human Resources and Pay is a Branch within Shared Services Canada under the leadership of the Assistant Deputy Minister, Next Generation Human Resources and Pay, Shereen Benzvy Miller.

The Assistant Deputy Minister is supported by a dynamic and skilled leadership team who are at the helm of this initiative and leading the following portfolios:

  • Gloria Haché, Director General
    Strategy and Program Management, including Business Transformation and the new Centre of Expertise
  • Jacqeline Jodoin, Director General
    Strategic Governance and Corporate Services
  • Valerie Bournival, Director General
    Portfolio Management Office (PMO), including the coordination across the portfolio, risk, reporting and vendor relation.
  • Steve Dufour, Director General
    Operations Delivery and the Pilots relating to the technical blueprint, enterprise principles and standards, and enterprise architecture.
  • André Cyr, Strategic Delivery Lead
    Strategic direction on enterprise technical solutions for the Next Generation HR and Pay initiative.
