Major milestone accomplished! GCJT concludes Proof of Concept testing - 2021/ 03/ 10
We are excited to share our progress regarding GC Jobs Transformation (GCJT): Proof of Concept testing has been completed and our Discovery Phase comes to a close!
The GCJT project team held various testing activities between December 2020 and January 2021 to examine vendor recruitment solution functionality to determine whether they meet user needs:
• Accessibility testing was carried out in partnership with Shared Services Canada’s Accessibility, Accommodation and Adaptive Computer Technology (AAACT) program to ensure the new solution meets GC accessibility standards;
• Autonomous hands-on testing was completed with the collaboration of 90 participants from 10 departments, ensuring a focus on diverse representation of Employment Equity groups, geographic location, language profiles and user groups (job seekers, hiring managers and HR professionals);
• Vendor demonstrations, guided hands-on and technical validation were also completed with the help of Public Service Commission subject matter experts.
Our current focus is the compilation and analysis of Proof of Concept results, leading us toward launch of our pilot phase in spring of 2021, through which key stakeholders and Canadians will be able to participate in actual hiring processes.
We wish to say THANK YOU to all who participated and contributed to the achievement of this important project milestone. Stay tuned to GCcollab, GCwiki and our GCJT webpage for communications on further progress made.
