This free yoga and fitness program for GC employees is designed for those looking to learn or return to, the foundations of yoga postures, alignment, and breathing technique. Classes will build body heat and work on endurance, energy circulation, flexibility, meditation and strength in a supportive environment, encouraging the link between mindful body movement and the breath. Appropriate for beginners as well as those with ongoing practice. No yoga experience necessary. Bring your own yoga mat, water bottle, and comfortable clothing.
Classes take place in the basement of 560 Rochester Room 029 from 12:00-12:45 however, in the summer, if the weather is nice and the temperature is above 18 degrees, classes are held outside unless otherwise stated on this page. Classes take place as per schedule unless cancelled. A notice will appear here if this is the case.

Ce programme de yoga et bootcamp, offert gratuitement aux employés de RNCan, est conçu pour ceux qui souhaitent découvrir le yoga, ou revoir les postures de base (alignement, respiration et technique). La pratique du yoga augmente la chaleur corporelle, accroît l’endurance, favorise la circulation de l'énergie, développe la souplesse et donne de la résistance dans un environnement propice, en faisant le lien entre le mouvement du corps conscient et la respiration. Convient autant aux débutants qu'aux habitués. Aucune expérience du yoga n'est requise. Il faut apporter son propre tapis de yoga, sa bouteille d'eau et des vêtements confortables.

L'été, s'il fait beau et que la température est au dela de 20 degrés, les cours ont lieu dehors, sauf avis contraire sur cette page. Tous les cours ont lieu selon l'horaire sauf si annulés. Une notice apparaitra ici pour vous en informer.
