Turn On/Off
To turn on the PAD, follow these steps:
1. Press the front-panel button, hold for one second, and release it. The display should read “Change.”
2. Wait until the display reads “Enter.”
3. Press the button again.
4. The display should now read “In.” The LED screen will flash briefly, and a single beep will be emitted from the unit.
5. If properly enabled, the unit will emit a single beep and the display will change to “d: 0.000 mSv.” It is now in Active Mode, and ready for use.
To turn off the PAD, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the front-panel button for 8-10 seconds. The display should read “Change” at this point.
2. Continue to hold the front-panel button so that the words “Go Out” appear on the display.
3. Release the front-panel button at this time, and the display should read “: Out.” The unit will emit a single beep and the LED display will briefly flash.
4. If properly executed, the unit will emit a single beep and the display will return to “CNSC.” It is now in “Pause” mode.
