Join us on July 29, 2021 for the Inaugural Commemoration to mark the first nationally recognized Emancipation Day in Canada.

The webinar will raise awareness of its historical context and how the day was celebrated in the past. It will also recognize the accomplishments of Black Canadians as they continue to challenge systemic racism in today’s society.

Special guests will discuss effecting change on anti-black racism within and across generations. This event will be hosted by Renaissance, TBS’ Young Professionals Network and the Black Employees Network.
