The purpose of the Regulatory Cost Calculator is to provide federal departments and agencies with a standardized tool to used to quantify and monetize increases or decreases or administrative burden required by the One-for-One rule.

For the SBL, the calculator can help quantify and monetize both associated compliance and administrative costs in a manner consistent with cost-benefit analysis.
