As of June 20, 2025, new appointments made to bilingual supervisory positions that involve the supervision of employees in bilingual regions will be required to meet [https://canada-preview.adobecqms.net/en/treasury-board-secretariat/services/values-ethics/official-languages/workplace/minimum-second-language-proficiency-requirements-bilingual-positions.html a superior level of second official language proficiency.] The documents below have been prepared to help institutions implement this policy change.
