Motivated to find opportunities beyond his geographic location and government department, Jean was an active participant in the 2024 LLMC: “By the end of LLMC 2024, I had the opportunity to sign up for micro-assignments through the Diversity and Inclusion Learning Exchange Program. I applied that motivation outside of LLMC and landed micro-assignments with Transformation, Rural and Remote Services, Partnerships.”

The father-to-be of a BIPOC child, Jean is more aware of his own privileges in life, and the hidden layers that make us who we are. Jean is inspired by the idea that diversity and inclusion is an opportunity that allows us to work together and level the playing field for future generations.
