“It is important to stay connected with network members to cultivate good resilience in a challenging work environment,” shared LLMC graduate Melanie Ndandji Wandji.
Melanie chose to participate in LLMC 2024 to gain new knowledge and skills to better navigate a challenging work environment: “I learned that I was not alone in this situation… Then I took the Masterclasses on Negotiation, Inclusive Leadership, and Neuroplasticity, which helped me develop resilience.”
For Melanie, sponsorship and mentorship are also important aspects of LLMC: “Mentoring or sponsorship allows you to understand your organization, gives you the tools to avoid mistakes and move faster.”
Participating in LLMC helped change Melanie’s view on their public service career, noting that “I plan to continue working in the public service, especially to support the culture change initiative and strengthen inclusive leadership in our teams.”
