Web Executive Board was last week, went through Q2 results, and also talked about intranet technologies

Canada Digital Adoption Program - to boost and modernize small and medium businesses
They still have funding left in the program
Asking departments is they see any opportunities to post about the program, adding the feature to relevant pages

Principal Publisher - Page feedback tool

The Page Feedback Tool (PFT) in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), initially scheduled for October 24, 2023, was successfully deployed yesterday November 7, 2023. The Report a Problem tool was also decommissioned in AEM.
AEM users are now able to add the new PFT to their pages of choice via the AEM Page Properties. Step-by-step instructions on how to add the tool are available in the AEM training modules on GCpedia (please see Chapter 3, unit 1.2 – Customizing the Page Feedback Tool).
GC developers and web publishers using the AEM freestyle template or not using AEM can find technical guidance in the GCWeb documentation on how to manually add and configure the PFT.
The PFT guidance has also been updated as part of this release:

Is there a deadline for changing the page feedback tool?

Answer

Not at this time, but hopefully in the next few months

Security problem with their live chat function, because of security problems, so looking for a new solution
They will let the community know more details to ensure problems aren’t repeated

Departments have their first progress reports at the end of this calendar year
We’re updating the templates to reflect the progress reports
We’re also updating the instructions

DTO - Artificial Intelligence - Analyzing feedback - Presentation

Is there a way to use AI to analyze feedback
Yes we can, but have to do it responsibly
Turn off chat history and training so that the data remains private
Review data to ensure that no personal information is entered, the servers are outside of Canada
Especially ensure to remove names and identifying information such as addresses
The script in Feedback does scrub away a lot of this information, but it’s not perfect
You can use prompts to use ChatGPT to act as a feedback analyzer
Be careful to look for bias, for example might be biased towards English
Check for illogical or wrong outputs
Be sure to build human reviews into your process

Have you run the same dataset to see if it repeats the same results?

A: No I haven’t but I did notice that it has trouble with French.

-Wildfires continue and seem to be a growing concern across the country. They will likely be going on all summer. Provinces and territories are the leads on wildfires, the federal government just supports them. Their websites are the main sources of information. Public Safety will be updating the federal pages today and this week related to donation matching programs for Northwest Territories and Nova Scotia in addition to the one for Alberta.
