Our languages in ACTION!

Every year, we pay tribute to Canada's rich linguistic heritage on Official Languages Day (formerly known as Linguistic Duality Day).This year's event highlights the crucial role languages play in everyday life, and emphasizes the tangible impact they have in the arts, sciences, entrepreneurship, sports, culture and more.

Our languages in ACTION! encourages the exploration and promotion of our languages in all their forms. The theme also inspires commitment and collaboration to support and promote the cohesion of our communities in a rapidly changing world.
