Official Languages Day 2026: Two Voices in Harmony Music at the heart of the 2026 Official Languages celebrations! On September 10, let’s join our voices together! Celebrate Canada’s linguistic richness, inspired by the music that brings us together, grounds us and shapes an inclusive and vibrant future for our two official languages. Official Languages Day is an opportunity to showcase our linguistic heritage and highlight the initiatives and voices of communities that contribute to the promotion of Canadian culture and identity. This year’s theme, Two Voices in Harmony, places music at the heart of the 2026 Official Languages Day celebrations. A powerful means of sharing and learning, music is a vibrant reflection of our cultural identity. Through its melodies, it carries the values, stories, and memory of our communities from one generation to the next, strengthening our sense of belonging. We invite you to mark and celebrate Official Languages Day within your institution, your community and your networks.
