Since joining the department in the late 90s, he has held a number of positions working on IT systems and architecture covering many statistical domains such as business surveys and the system of national accounts. As a data standards architect, Stéphane is a vocal advocate for the adoption of standards including those for data exchange and metadata management. He also plays a key role in their implementation across various data domains within Statistics Canada. In his free time, Stéphane enjoys exploring new technologies and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. Christopher began his public service career at the Office of the Auditor General over eighteen years ago. He then held progressively senior positions at Treasury Board Secretariat and Natural Resources Canada. His work has focused on a range of activities to improve economic competitiveness, environmental performance, social outcomes and the efficiency of government.
