The GCTools Ambassadors Network is made up of volunteers from various departments. The ambassadors promote GCconnex, GCpedia, and GCollab in their respective department or region, help onboard employees, and provide support to departmental or regional teams in understanding how the GCTools can enhance their work.

In 2016-17, the Ambassadors Network consisted of 240 ambassadors located in 50 departments and different regions.

The GCTools team from the Chief Information Officer Branch (CIOB) within the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) is responsible to overview the Ambassadors Network.
