What's more, the acceleration towards digital technology is gradually invading the daily life of each and every one of us, who is seeing their work activity being transformed, sometimes in depth, to the point of leading to a certain form of professional de-skilling, or even the loss of certain jobs and the creation of others, requiring a different and higher level of training. Designed with an interdisciplinary approach and thanks to the contribution of authors from Quebec, France, and Belgium, this book examines the main effects of these digital transformations on the world of work and the increasingly important place occupied by AI. It sheds light on some of the issues raised by these transformations in terms of ethics, social dialogue, human resources management, and legal issues. In addition to these issues, there are the challenges posed by the dilution of the boundary between work and private life, as well as the metamorphosis of the relationship between the company and its employees that results from the development of digital platforms.
