<p><span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Georgia,serif">The purpose of this vignette is to clarify and explain certain concepts, articles, mechanisms and roles related to official languages. I<span style="font-size:16px"><span style="font-family:Georgia,serif">n this first issue, we suggest that you compare the roles and responsibilities of the key actors who have a role to play in matters of official languages in federal institutions – namely, the Persons Responsible for Official Languages (PROLs), the Coordinators responsible for the implementation of section 41 of the ''Official Languages Act'', and the Official Languages Champions.
