Prior to joining WAGE, Runa served at Canadian Heritage and the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission, where she worked on a number of issues such as: review of the legislative frameworks for telecommunications and broadcasting, net neutrality, the regulation of social media and the online media sector, and fake news. − − − Runa holds Civil Law and Common Law degrees from McGill University and is a Member of the Barreau du Québec.
