Mireille Laroche was appointed to the position of Chief Data Officer for the CRA on September 17, 2018. Mireille joined the CRA in September 2014 as Deputy Assistant Commissioner of the Collections and Verification Branch. She became the Assistant Commissioner of the Appeals Branch on April 1, 2016.
Prior to joining the CRA, Mireille was acting Assistant Deputy Minister of the Processing and Payment Services Branch at Service Canada. Mireille began her career in the public service in 1996 with the Department of Finance Canada, where she worked on various economic and fiscal issues.
Mireille holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences with a specialization in Economics and Political Science from the University of Ottawa
