Maryam Haghighi is the Director of Data Science at the Bank of Canada. She provides strategic leadership for data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning towards the Bank’s mandate.
Over the past 15 years, she has successfully led diverse teams from academic environments to global enterprises and private partnerships, to solve complex data problems for multi-billion-dollar projects on the ground and in the skies. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Ottawa.
