|John Kane is the Director of Communications at the Public Service Commission. Over the last decade, he has served in a variety of management positions in the federal government, overseeing Ministerial liaison, Web renewal, social media, strategic communications, media relations, internal communications, graphic design, outreach, audio-visual and speechwriting functions, among others. Earlier in his career, John worked on Parliament Hill, in the private and voluntary sectors, and overseas. He is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia.
