You can upload images and other files to GCpedia, as long as they are resident on your computer and acceptable file types. Simply click on the '''upload file link''' in the toolbox on the left-hand side of any GCpedia window. Once you are in the upload file page, click on the browse button and navigate to the file in your computer. Click on the file, and the wiki will fill the second box with the file’s name. You have an opportunity to change the name if you like, and can also add comments to the summary box if necessary.

If you uploaded a file with spaces in the file name you can change them to underscores or <nowiki>%20</nowiki> instead of spaces, or just leave the spaces in and GCpedia will figure things out.  However if you want to use a caption after the pipe symbol you'll need to change the spaces.
