Algorithm providing guidance on COI management, included in PHAC COI assessment tool. Management options are presented as suggestions, based on the type and significance of COI(s) identified, and may be modified as needed by users of the tool to fit their individual needs (see instructions section of tool). Choice of management option where multiple are presented, may be influenced by the number of COI present, presence of other individuals on the panel with COI, and how strict a stance the group wishes to take on COI.
