The OLCE:
*provides advice, guidance and support to federal institutions on how to implement Parts IV, V and VI of the Official Languages Act;
*develops policies related to Part IV, Part V and Part VI of the Official Languages Act (OLA) for the consideration and approval of the Treasury Board;
*prepares draft regulations pursuant to Parts IV, V and VI, at the Minister’s request; and
*monitors OL through the Annual Review on OL and prepares the Annual Report on Official Languages, which the President of Treasury Board submits to Parliament.
