As stewards of public trust, public servants play an important role in supporting the integrity of Canada’s information ecosystem. As a companion to [https://catalogue.csps-efpc.gc.ca/product?catalog=TRN506&cm_locale=en Untangling Misinformation and Disinformation,] this CSPS course provides strategies to recognize, prepare for, and respond to misinformation and disinformation in the workplace. Participants will examine the importance of finding and sharing accurate information and how these strategies strengthen public trust.     

GC Policy Hack offers participants the opportunity to develop a policy solution for a federal government priority while receiving coaching from an experienced policy professional in the GC.     

Review the strategies with your team and discuss how you can apply them to your work.

# Horizontal    collaboration – participants will network with public servants from    different departments & exchange ideas which can help break down silos

# Innovation    – participants will work together to develop innovative and practical    solutions for policy priorities

 

 

Public servants with at least 5 years of experience in policy development in the GC are invited to participate as coaches.
