Emily is also an incredible mixed media artist and educator who creates pieces of art inspired by her family, community teachings and her experiences on the land.  Emily’s pieces have been displayed in public spaces across the NCR. Her most recent artwork Pangawogo Ninga Akì – meaning Heartbeat of Mother Earth in Anishinaabemowin – can be viewed at the Kipnes Lantern located inside the National Arts Centre’s Canal lobby in Ottawa.
